Yellowstone River Sauger Black and White
Unlike their close relative Walleye, Sauger are native to Montana. Their trademark mottling coloration made painting this piece both tedious and fascinating, and eventually one of my favorites. This particular Sauger was caught as part of a tagging effort in the Yellowstone River.
Archival prints are printed and packaged by the artist in Miles City, Montana, on 11" X 14" lightly textured, heavy weight paper. Prints are packaged in a clear bag with recycled cardboard backing. Signed.
