Townsend's Big-eared Bat

Townsend's big-eared bats are one of the coolest critters around! This piece was painted for my fiance, a biologist for the state of Montana participating in research determining where bats spend their winters. Their findings will inform wildlife managers on bat distribution and biology, as well as help develop strategies should white-nose fungus arrive in Montana.
