The River Shepard

I painted this to honor a friend, mentor, and legend of the fisheries world, Brad Shepard, who passed away a few years ago. It took me far longer to get to it than I intended, but perhaps the completion of "The River Shepard" is right on time.
 
Brad was a larger than life figure - an exemplary biologist and human, always vocal about what he believed in and incredibly supportive of his fisheries colleagues. I think of him often in these times. My hope is that this painting reminds us all to remain steadfast and support each other.
 
Archival prints are printed and packaged by the artist in Lewistown, Montana, on Entrada Bright Rag fine art paper using archival inks. Signed.
 
Standout mounts are printed by Bay Photo in Scotts Valley, California, then packaged by the artist in Lewistown, Montana. These prints are mounted on a 3/4" deep black foam-board backing and give the print a clean, contemporary look. Signature is printed to prevent smearing. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
