The Encounter

The Encounter is a depiction of two awesome things: an adult female white shark and Ron Elliott, a long-time supporter of the California White Shark Project. A retired urchin diver, Ron continued to dive to encounter white sharks, film them, and appreciate them. He is featured in Near Miss, a film by Josh Berry, that chronicles his time spent at the Farallon Islands, where he dives alone with white sharks. This painting was inspired by that film, and of course, Ron himself.
 
Archival prints are printed and packaged by the artist in Lewistown, Montana, on 16” X 20” lightly textured, heavy weight paper. Prints are packaged in a clear bag with recycled cardboard backing. Signed.
 
Standout metal mounts are printed by Bay Photo in Scotts Valley, California, then packaged by the artist in Lewistown, Montana. These 16" X 20" prints have a black background and give the print a sharp, modern look. Signature is printed to prevent smearing. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
