Smith River Whitefish
Essential to coldwater river systems and in my opinion an underrated sportfish, I think Mountain Whitefish have a unique, purpose-built beauty. Witnessing autumn spawning runs numbering in the thousands is truly a sight to behold. This particular Mountain Whitefish was caught and tagged as part of a movement study in the Smith River basin, Montana.
