Ontario Laker Black and White
The Ontario Laker is one of my proudest achievements. This individual was caught as part of an Ontario study examining two separate life history strategies within a single population and classified as large benthic, possessing an exclusively piscivorous diet, large size, and inhabiting deepwater lentic habitat. Its counterpart is the small pelagic, a mostly invertivorous individual inhabiting shallow, open-water habitat.
